TAPAGE NOCTURNE

 

This wall installation is the result of a participatory process by the students of the University Saint-Louis - Brussels. The colored slabs are the visual translation of the sound intensities recorded during the course of a party, each one concentrating 15 seconds of the recording. Every color represent a different loudness. The composition reads like a score from left to right, from top to bottom, drawing a sound power that increases as the tile tones darken.
